The following guide includes the necessary steps to remove Binny and it’s supporting programs from your system:
- Open the Windows settings
- Navigate to the Apps & Programs page
- Find Binny in the Installed apps list and click ‘Uninstall’
- Follow the un-installation process provided by the Binny uninstaller program
- Open the Windows settings
- Navigate to the Apps & Programs page
- Find ESL Server in the Installed apps list and click ‘Uninstall’
- Follow the un-installation process provided by the Opticon uninstaller program
Beta versions of Binny (versions 0.0.01 through 0.0.05) included a separated database program called PostgreSQL. This software is no-longer used on versions 1.0.0 and greater. These steps can be followed to remove the PostgreSQL software:
- Open the Apps & Programs settings menu
- Find PostgreSQL and click ‘Uninstall’
- After uninstallation is complete, open a Windows File Explorer
- Navigate to ‘C:\Program Files’ and delete the Postgres folder
